How to Generate Fitness Courses for Trekking in Trailaider App

Assuming you have downloaded the Trailaider App from Google Playstore already, here’s a walkthrough toward generating your first course and completing it.

Please note that courses listed in the app are prepared by certified trekkers and mountaineers. So make sure you complete the course before going on a trek so you can have an improved physical and mental state to complete the trek successfully.

Step 1

The second tab you see at the bottom of your main screen is the course tab. And, the plus sign at the bottom right side is the ‘Generate New Course’ button. When you click on the plus sign, the ‘Generate New Course’ screen appears. Fill in the trek name, course duration, and trek height. Once you have filled all the options, click on the generate course button.

For trek height, you have the option to change the units. You can choose either Imperial (ft/lbs) or Metric (m/kg). You also have the option to choose the units when you first login and create your profile on the Trailaider app.

Step 2

When you click on the generate course button, your fitness course for trekking gets listed as seen in image 1 below. Click on the listed course and it takes you to the weekly and daily listing of the sessions. Each day is dedicated to certain physical activities that you have to complete. The duration and intensity of each activity are carefully chosen keeping your BMI, trek height, and stage in the course. By hitting on the start session button, the app will track the time and speed of your walking/running session.

Step 3

Day 2 and day 6 of each fitness course for trekking contain two sessions (Session 1 and Session 2). Session 2 is dedicated to workout. In session 2, you can watch the videos and perform the exercises for the duration mentioned along with each exercise.

Step 4

On the course page, the second button takes you to the meal plan page from where you can select the meal plan of your choice. We recommend you follow any one meal plan for a whole day to keep the nutritional value adequate for the day.

For example: If you choose breakfast from meal plan 1 on day 1, then choose lunch from the same meal plan. Do not mix-match meals from two different meal plans.

All the fitness courses for trekking and meal plans in the Trailaider app are created by professional trekkers and mountaineers to prepare the cardiovascular system of an individual. It is suggestive that you complete your entire course, exercises and meal because fitness is the utmost priority for the trekkers.
