  • How to reach the Mount Arthur

You need to reach Flora car park for the expedition to the Mount Arthur. It is around 75 km from the Nelson region and considering the distance from Motueka, it is just 36 km. There is also a linkage between Nelson and Motueka which is a Motueka Valley Highway. After reaching here, shift the road to Ngatimoti in order to cross the Motueka River.

Now take a left turn to follow the Motueka River West Bank Road. Then take right to Graham Valley Road which directly links to the Flora car park area.

The choice of vehicle is required here too as the turning points are little steeply at the last 5.8 km from the car park. It is recommended to use 4WD all times annually.

  • Start the journey of Mount Arthur from Flora Car Park to follow for Mount Arthur Hut Track.

  • At the time of winter, the range to Mount Arthur is quite snowy and you must carry winter equipment for easy walking on snow.
  • It is recommended to tell any concerned person once you are planning to go for climbing at Mount Arthur.
